VIRTUAL TIP BUCKET
Welcome to AnkerMusic.
Anker is a New Jersey–based solo rock artist and singing guitarist whose live performances range from guitar and voice to a modern-day one-man-band presentation. At some shows, it’s simply Anker, his guitar, and his voice. At others, live guitar and vocals are joined by electronic rhythms, background vocals, and basic looping.
With a working repertoire of 475+ songs covering more than 75 years of rock and pop, Anker brings an unusually broad catalog to every performance. His shows have taken him from bars, breweries, and wineries to festivals, private events, and community celebrations.
Anker’s original music is also an important part of his live performances. Rather than separating originals into their own portion of the show, he works them naturally into sets alongside the familiar songs around them. Released across multiple albums and singles, his original material has earned college radio airplay and often sounds like a hidden deep cut rather than an interruption in the set.
In the studio, Anker has worked with professional musicians and award-winning producers, including Dr. Louis DeLise, whose credits include Patti LaBelle and Halestorm. On stage, Anker has opened for nationally known artists including Vinny Martell of Vanilla Fudge, Richard Barone of The Bongos, and LUX, and has appeared in a Words & Music event with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-D.M.C.
Career Highlights
Today, Anker performs throughout New Jersey, the Philadelphia region, and New York’s lower Hudson Valley.
